Denouement
Denouement includes the events that occur after the climax. This is often the resolution of the main problem in the literary work.
Eliza: "I'll offer myself as an assistant to that hairyfaced Hungarian."
Higgins: "What!...You take one step in his direction and I'll wring your neck."
Eliza: "Wring away. What do I care?...Now I know how to deal with you...You cant take away the knowledge you gave me..."
Henry: "I said I'd make a woman of you; and I have. I like you like this."
Eliza: "Yes: you turn around and make up to me now that I'm not afraid of you, and can do without you" (Shaw 131-132, Act V).
In this scene, Eliza has established her independence from her creator. These ending events suggest she is determined to leave and marry Freddy.
